Will someone tell me the purpose of those 6 men bowing down to the guy in the middle? Before reading the advert that is the first thing one sees.

Somewhat racist and stereotypical, imagine if they started running… they would all crush into each others heads. Think about it, doesn’t it portray the “white race” as the slower of the two? It’s good they apologized

interesting.. response from misi…
there is a cultural context…for an african looking at the pics, they will see it the other way, that is those black ppl bowing down to the white man in the middle…and wonder if the image is trying to portray the black race as being inferior to the white race…
cultural context – weird thing, ain’t it….
But, any which way you cut it, it is a stereotypical image.

Stereotyoing is a game that the racist “whites” believe is a norm. I see it everywhere especially in London. Adverts with negative concepts feauture blacks, like getting caught on a bus/train without a ticket, doing stupid things etc. Even the police will not say a culprit is “white male” just plain male, but if believed to be black they then change this to “black male” and even mention the origin “of African Origin” they say. It’s a crying shame though that at this day and age these two faced people with double standards still try it on and want to get away with it. I think i’ll put in one more real life rant for covert racism is a problem am facing right now… stay tuned. The balck race will be a force to reckon with and respect —yes sometime later but it will happen. It’s already begun for when we think of the days of slavery and Apartheid, we know things are gradually changing so all is not lost.
