Hi folks, this is me Omotaylor. Born and bred in Nigeria, I am very proudly Nigerian, in spite of currently living in the Diaspora. I am from Nigeria's one and only Sunshine State and hence my philosophy includes spreading warmth and happiness to all I know. The best thing in my life is my God, who has been my only permanent friend to date and a real succour to me, hence I have vowed to Him to do his Will and Evangelise at all times. I believe that our children are our future so I get involved in Children Ministries and education. Lastly, as "all work and no play makes jack a dull boy", I love travelling, creative writing, stage acting, football and dancing so so much. Peace :)

It’s Regeneration Time – Time to really become Born Again and tow the line of a true Christian.
Simply put, to tow the line of a true Christian is to work one’s own personal salvation and follow after God into eternity.
The main focus of this topic would be to enable you & I have a deep [...]

Power of Prayer - 2

Your prayer life must be aflame for your prayers to be fervent and effectual. Did King David not declare in Psalm 42: 1-2 that:
“As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God”?
True Power Prayer will mold our soul [...]

Power of Prayer - 1

At oft times in the life of a Christian, we are subjected to abuse, problems and a general feeling of depression. On individual and communal levels we come across situations that make us feel that the world has gone mad, and this affects our sanity. Also many times we find that things are just okay, [...]

The American Political Procedure; Lessons for Nigeria

us-ng-seal.JPG
The U. S candidates appealed to the masses for support and in return promised to work for the masses…I’ve yet to erase from my memory the 2007 elections and its aftermath in Nigeria. I kept wondering if now is not the time to start preparing for election 2011…

Breaking the Vicious Cycle 2

THE 7 HELLS OF NIGERIA (part 2)
I recommend a reading of part 1 for clarity and better understanding as this is a continuation…
HELL 4 – BAD LEADERSHIP

Breaking the Vicious Cycle - 1

THE 7 HELLS OF NIGERIA (part 1)
Nigeria my motherland,
Nigeria my fatherland,
Nigeria my country of milk and honey
Now turned a country of bile and loony.
I write with a sense of foreboding today. I write with an intense passion albeit from an intensely depressed heart about the 7 Hells of my dear country Nigeria, and in between [...]

Breaking Invincible Barriers 2

In part 1, we identified what invincible barriers are and mentioned the strongholds that place barriers in our physical and spiritual lives. I gave 3 examples of such and will give 3 more:
4. CURSES (+generational curses) e.g. Balaam and Balak – Numbers 22-23. 22:6 –
“Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for [...]

Breaking Invincible Barriers

Dearly beloved,
We have entered into a new year and I pray that this year will be a year of peace, breakthroughs and blessings for us all in Jesus name. I thank God almighty for holding us together and protecting us all from dangers, attacks and problems too hard for us to handle. “The right hand [...]

Improving Lagos

Step by step, Lagos is gradually on its way to attaining better standards of living. There was so much talk about the Lagos Mega City and all of a sudden, dead quiet. I thought to myself, “here we go again for so much ado about nothing”. All the while, I was focusing on lofty grandeur [...]

Lofty Prayers for 2008

This is the time of the year when we all say “out with the old and in with the new”. We reflect on the highs and the lows of the outgoing year (and say adieus 2007), and in the same breath make promises, resolutions and plan to achieve more highs than lows in the new year (bien arrive 2008)…
