Via African Executive:
A new farming method that employs human urine is good news to the majority of Ugandans who comprise 80 percent of the poor, relying on subsistence farming. It is also good news to the 35 percent of the population living below the poverty line, as there is now a steady form of income even to children…
For banana fertilization, twenty liters of urine is mixed with water on a one to one ratio. For coffee, the ratio is one to two… One ought to start by mixing the urine and water in a drum and allow the mixture to stay for seven days in order to ferment. This is followed by getting a banana sucker, trimming the roots; smearing it with a mixture of ash and water; leaving it for fifteen minutes; placing it in a two feet hole, and irrigating it till it is mature. One then starts sprinkling the fertilizer around the plant.

Hope this technology will get to Nigeria sooner than later for I have identified a useful profession… How to drink more water to make a living and teaching many to do the same. Also this will reduce the putrid smell that emanates from all corners of the country. This is something politicians will not be allowed to steal from the poor man o, for they eat more than drink. And dont even think about it, s**t technology is for the ones that have food to eat.

Ms Omo-T you are too funny. This is a brillant idea. Everyone is given an opportunity to contribute to the improvement of their country and at the same time they are making money from it.
