How To Make D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S Scotch Eggs

scotch-eggs.JPG

Recipe Serves 12

Ingredients:

  1. Twelve Hard boiled eggs
  2. Seven Raw Braithwaite sausage or 12 breakfast sausages
  3. 1/2 cup flour
  4. Two Raw eggs
  5. One cup of Bread crumbs
  6. Vegetable oil

Instruction:

  • Boil the 12 eggs for 15 minutes
  • Peel eggs and put them in a bowl.
  • Put all the flour in a bowl next to the boiled eggs
  • Next to that bowl put the raw sausages
  • Beat the 2 raw eggs and put in a bowl next to the sausages
  • Next to that in a large tray put the bread crumbs

Here goes the domino effect

  • Take the boiled hard egg, roll it in the flour
  • Then with your hands press a portion of the sausage around each egg make sure the sausage completely engulfs the egg so there is no visible white egg
  • Dip sausage-wrapped eggs into the beaten eggs
  • Roll the egg in bread crumbs
  • Heat vegetable oil to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. You better off with a deep-fry
  • Cook each egg in oil for about 4-5 minutes or until sausage is cooked and brown
  • Drain oil on paper towel
  • Serve warm, cold or as you like!

My mouth is watering just describing it to you. Enjoy and let me know how it went!
