bonongozi.JPGBack in September, Bono and Nigeria’s former finance minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, (who accepted for Bono’s DATA organization) acknowledged applause from the National Constitution Center’s Joseph Torsella and the audience after receiving the Liberty Medals, Philadelphia’s premier social-service award. Bono was honored for “using his celebrity to champion the plight of Africa”.
