Nigeria: Ribadu Creates Airport Stir

Former Police chief, Nuhu Ribadu, yesterday caused wild excitement at the domestic terminal of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos when he disembarked from the Arik Air flight, which brought him from Abuja to Lagos at about 5.20 P.M on Saturday.

A crowd made up of airport taxi drivers, and airport workers started to cheer and salute the sacked police officer. They continued for a while disrupting the normal flow of business at the airport. “This is amazing. I have never seen anything like this in my life,” an embarassed Ribadu said as he searched for the driver who was to pick him up from the airport. NEXT.

Good to hear the people appreciate and support Ribadu. This must have really uplifted his spirits. Nevertheless Ribadu needs to be very careful. Do not underestimate the power of the opposition. I really dont want anything to happen to the man sha. May all enemies of progress and lovers of corruption in Nigeria P—E–R–I—S–H.
