He actually built this without any formal training - I am impressed but I would have been more impressed if budding engineers and scientists were more focused on solving a problem that had to do with a need rather than a want.
Needs:
Light
Housing
Water
Just to name a few…..
But I am proud of him too. Nigerians are definitely ingenious!!

Another applaudable effort by a young Nigerian. Well done for ingenuity displayed. Nevertheless, I will caution that this Chopper is well tried and tested before any attempt at flying it for choppers are dangerous and can easily flip if not balanced. The engine(s) should also be well tested so that this achievement does not become a tragedy. Well done man, you will build more.

I congratulate Mubarak Muhammad Abdullahi on this effort. I’ve always believed that creative ingenuity and dedicated effort to build useful systems and solutions using locally available materials are sure ways out of poverty for Africa.
This chopper might not take anyone across the oceans but it will surely take this young man’s creativity across many lands. Once again, congratulations Mubarak.
