Omotaylor – It’s My Life Part 3

ITS MY LIFE – PART 3 – THE MOVEHi Folks as promised here is Part 111 of my story – Thank you for staying tuned. ENJOY.

My mother being a nurse knew she could be transferred to any part of Nigeria anytime. She always wished that she could be sent to Lagos to be closer to her darling Gabriel. Maybe it was just answered prayers or maybe it was “long leg” organised by my dad, mum got her posting to Nigeria.

In 1964 we said goodbye to Ibadan the town of my birth. My mum then had four kids, Gabriel, me, & Michael and Marian. There is something unique about M&M. They share the same birthday –just one year apart. My mum God rest her soul in peace was an achiever, a go getter and a woman of many surprises. She loved parties and always organised big birthday bashes so Michael’s 1st birthday was planned and on the day Mum went to collect the cake herself. She never came back that day( no fear, she no die, na good news). We had the party and immediately after went to the hospital to visit mum and a brand new baby girl! So till today M/M are still very close, the unusual Taylor twins. We had another big party 7 days after for Marian’s naming ceremony. Papa must have been loaded, spending so much.
