Photo Exhibit Highlights Sexual Violence in DR Congo
Enough Project and Congo/Women will hold an international photography exhibition as an educational campaign to raise awareness of the widespread sexual violence facing women in the DRC.
The “Congo/Women Portraits of War: The Democratic Republic of Congo” exhibition “will feature life size photographs that the strength and the courage of Congolese women.” The exhibition will also includes essays highlighting “the impact of the crisis from a range perspective.”
This exhibition will be held at the Columbia College of Chicago, 1006 South Michigan Ave, Chicago, Illinois.
Opening dates: Feb 5-14, 2009 (Tues.-Sat. 12-6pm)
