We Are One Concert: Stars Flag Off Obama Inaugural Celebrations

About a million people braved freezing temperatures in Washington to attend the “We Are One” concert marking the onset of the Obama inaugural celebrations on Sunday.

“We Are One” concert broadcasted live on HBO cable TV from the Lincoln Memorial, was a star-studded event that set the tone for Barack Obama’s upcoming inauguration on Tuesday.

Denzel Washington, U2, Bruce Springsteen and Beyoncé and many others were on hand to celebrate the man who will become the 44th leader of the free world and the first black US president.
